Margaret Kimberlin was known for being a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, wife, friend. She was also a creative soul with the spirit of patience, kindness, and love. Margaret enjoyed telling stories to her children and grandchildren. She doodled, wrote poetry, and loved sharing her creations with others. Margaret had a dream to become a children’s book author and had written several stories. Although her stories were well written, creative and original, she struggled to find an illustrator to bring her books to life. Her daughters, Renee and Raye, were able to use modern technology to make her dream a real life tribute to their mother.
Renee Forrester throughout her life, has found joy in making others laugh through her personal experiences. Growing up, Renee spent her days playing with cousins and neighborhood friends, learning life lessons through community, imagination, and fun. As an adult, she lived what she lovingly describes as an “adventurous” and spontaneous life, raising her children to see the world with curiosity, humor, and hope. Creativity and “thinking outside the box” were daily practices. Renee always dreamed of writing books for children. She enjoyed sharing this writing experience with her late mother, Margaret.
